Privacy policy.
This policy explains what personal information Savitar Global ("we", "us") collects when you visit savitar.global or our project forms, enquire about working with us or become a client, how we use it, who helps us handle it, and the choices you have.
1. Who we are
Savitar Global (Pvt) Ltd designs and builds Shopify stores, iPhone apps and web platforms, and runs Google and Meta ads for clients. For anything about your information, email contact@savitar.global.
2. What we collect
a. What you give us
- Your name, email address and phone or WhatsApp number
- Your company and website
- Your answers on our project forms, such as what you need, your budget range and your timeline
- Messages you send us, and the meetings you book
- Billing details if you become a client
b. Calls with our AI assistant
If you agree on one of our forms to be contacted, we keep recordings and transcripts of calls with our AI assistant, and notes written from them (see section 3).
c. Collected automatically
- Pages visited, the site that referred you, and the time of your visit
- Device and browser type, and your approximate country
- Ad information in the link you arrived from, such as campaign tags and Google or Meta click IDs, so we know which ads bring enquiries
3. Calls from our AI assistant
When you send an enquiry and agree on the form to be contacted, Allie, our AI assistant, may call you to understand what you need and book a free call with one of our project managers. At the start of every call, Allie says that she's an AI assistant and that the call is recorded.
- We record and transcribe the call, and AI writes a short summary for the project manager.
- We call during business hours in your time zone, and only a few times.
- Allie never asks for passwords, logins or payment details.
- You can stop the calls at any time: tell Allie on the call, reply to any of our emails, or email contact@savitar.global. We stop straight away.
4. How we use your information
- To answer your enquiry, and to call, email or message you about it
- To arrange your meetings and prepare our team for them
- To provide our services, and to invoice and get paid
- To understand which pages and ads bring enquiries, and to improve them
- To send updates or newsletters, only if you've asked for them
- To meet our legal obligations
We don't sell or rent your personal information.
5. Our legal reasons (UK and EU)
- Consent: calls and messages after you agree on our form, and advertising cookies where the law requires consent. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legitimate interests: replying to your enquiry and improving our website and ads.
- Contract: doing the work you hire us for.
- Legal obligation: keeping business and tax records.
6. Who helps us
We use these service providers to run our business. Each only gets what it needs for its part:
- Twilio: phone calls, phone numbers and call recordings, including the speech services it uses for our calls (ElevenLabs for the assistant's voice and Deepgram for speech recognition)
- Anthropic: the AI that powers the assistant's side of the conversation and writes call summaries
- Google: our business email, the spreadsheet our form enquiries are stored in, and Google Ads
- Supabase: the database for enquiries, calls and bookings
- Resend: sending our emails
- Calendly, Google Meet and Zoom: booking and holding meetings
- Vercel: hosting our website and forms, and counting visits without cookies
- Meta and LinkedIn: measuring our ads on the project forms and our AI video ads pages (see our Cookie Policy). When you buy AI video ads, we tell Meta about the purchase, with your email, phone, name and address scrambled (hashed) first, so Meta can match it to an ad you saw; we don't do this for buyers in the UK, the EEA or Switzerland
- WhatsApp and Telegram: messages with you on WhatsApp, and alerts to our team about new enquiries
- Stripe: payments
We may also share information if the law requires it.
7. Where your information is processed
Most of our service providers are based in the United States, and our team works from Sri Lanka, so your information is handled outside your own country. We choose providers that protect personal information to recognised standards, and only our own team and those providers can see it.
8. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details, call recordings and messages for as long as we need them to handle your enquiry and any work that follows, and to keep proper business records. You can ask us to delete them sooner.
9. Security
We use industry-standard security to protect your information, and access is limited to the people who need it. No method of sending or storing data over the internet is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to:
- See the information we hold about you
- Correct it, or have it deleted
- Object to how we use it, or limit it
- Withdraw your consent, including to calls and messages
Email contact@savitar.global and we'll reply within 30 days. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to your local regulator, such as the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, the Privacy Commissioner in New Zealand or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
11. Cookies and tracking
Our main website counts visits without cookies. Our project forms and our AI video ads pages use a few advertising tags to measure our ads. Our Cookie Policy explains what each does.
12. Other websites
Our website links to other sites. We aren't responsible for how they handle your information.
13. Children
Our services aren't meant for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect children's information.
14. Changes
We'll post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date at the top.
